Product Description: United Ortho presents the Ankle Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot, offering optimal stability and support for post-injury or post-operative recovery. This boot is suitable for a range of conditions, such as acute ankle sprains, soft tissue injuries, stable lower leg, foot and ankle fractures, and post-operative use. It fits both the right and left foot, providing a universal fit for all users.

Features: The boot features plastic molded uprights with steel reinforcement, ensuring durability and longevity. An insole equipped with shock-absorbing properties minimizes the impact of heel strikes during walking. Additionally, the rocker sole design allows for a natural gait, promoting the continuation of daily activities. The boot is recommended for individuals weighing up to 300 pounds.

Proper Sizing: Choosing the correct size is crucial for optimal functionality of the brace. Follow the foot length measurements on the size chart for a precise fit. If you find yourself nearing the maximum size, consider a larger boot if you wear wide shoes, require bandages or thick socks, experience swelling, or prefer a looser fit. Conversely, if you are close to the minimum size, consider a smaller boot if you wear narrow shoes, have slim feet, or prefer a tighter fit.

Determining Fit: Refer to the size chart and fit guide in the provided images and video for guidance on proper application and fit. These resources demonstrate the correct way to apply and adjust the United Ortho Short Air Walker Fracture Boot for an optimal fit.

Proper Application of United Ortho Short Air Walker Fracture Boot: Step 1: Open all the straps and remove the liner from the boot. Place your foot in the liner, ensuring that your heel is positioned at the back. For a proper fit, completely remove the top strap. Additional comfort pads are included to fill any gaps in the liner and provide additional padding where needed.

Step 2: Close the liner, starting from your toes. Ensure that the liner fits snugly around your foot and leg.

Step 3: Place your foot, with the liner inside, into the boot, making sure that your heel is pushed all the way to the back. Attach and fasten the top strap once your foot is in the proper position.

Step 4: Fasten the remaining straps, starting from the toes and working your way up. It is normal for the toes to extend slightly beyond the end of the liner. If your toes extend past the rigid shell, you may need a larger size. Confirm that your heel is properly positioned in the back of the boot. If you experience numbness, tingling, or discomfort, loosen the strap until you are comfortable. Consult a medical professional if these symptoms persist.

Step 5: To inflate the boot, turn the "inflate/deflate" knob clockwise until it stops turning. Press and release the blue air bulb repeatedly until the air liner provides the desired level of support. Initially, the liner may expand, so additional pumps may be necessary to readjust to the desired support.

Step 6: To deflate the boot, turn the "inflate/deflate" knob counterclockwise until it stops turning. If the air liner is fully deflated, it may require approximately 50 pumps to regain the desired support.

About United Ortho: For over 40 years, United Ortho has been the preferred choice for medical professionals and consumers seeking affordable and high-quality orthopedic products. Please refer to our sizing chart (second image) before making your purchase. Size Small is suitable for men's shoe sizes 4.5-6.5 and women's shoe sizes 6-8. It weighs 2.0 pounds and can be worn on either the left or right foot. Each purchase includes a user guide for proper application. Follow the provided steps for an ideal fit and maximum comfort.

This boot promotes natural walking with its rocker sole and shock-absorbing insole, enabling a more fluid walking experience during use. The boot's sturdy construction, featuring plastic molded uprights with steel reinforcement, ensures durability and customer satisfaction.
