The MARS Wellness Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint is primarily intended for treating Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis, and may be suitable for other conditions recommended by a physician. This lightweight night brace keeps the ankle in a neutral position during sleep, stretching the calf and plantar fascia to reduce muscle contracture, inflammation, and pain. The low profile shell is sturdy, breathable, and features three padded straps with buckles for immobilization. The padding has a washable Lycra covering for maximum comfort.

Recommended Best Practices: Start by wearing the night splint for a short period, gradually increasing the time each night and week. Adjust the tension to your preference as most splints are adjustable. The ideal goal is to wear it overnight or for 4 to 5 hours at a time, allowing the plantar fascia tissue to heal.

IMPORTANT FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: Tighten each strap if your foot or heel moves around in the splint to keep it in place. Follow these donning tips: 1. Place the splint on the floor. 2. Step into the splint with your heel as far back as possible. 3. Close and adjust the clasps while the splint is on the floor.
