This removable cast allows for mobility during day-to-day activities while recovering from an injury. The Air Walking Boot can be locked into a certain angle or limited range and the protected range-of-motion can be adjusted according to the patient's rehabilitation condition. To set the dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, you need to rotate the plastic dial to where the "pin" is open. Then rotate it 180 degrees and remove the other pin.
